Educational Event: The Pacific Southwest ATTC is hosting a three‐part web training series to provide behavioral health, opioid treatment program, and medical providers in HHS Region 9 with an overview of hepatitis C, featuring behavioral and clinical perspectives to inform practice. Part 1 provides information on Hepatitis C infection (HCV) as a major public health issue including present and long term impact to populations at risk, and the challenges and potential strategies to help address them. Part 1 also provides an overview of Hep C infection, disease conditions associated with HCV but typically not recognized in health care, and correlating modes with populations potentially at risk for infection.
